The Indian Parliament is a great opportunity for candidates seeking to know and understand the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha. Applications have been invited for internship and fellowship in the Rajya Sabha Secretariat. Under the Rajya Sabha Research and Study Scheme, There are 4 fellowships for Dr. Radhakrishnan Chair and 10 seats for Rajya Sabha Student Engagement Internship. According to the notification, Scholars doing research on political systems, democratic institutions, and socio-economic challenges can apply for the fellowship of Dr.Radhakrishnan's Chair. This fellowship is for two years which can be extended for one year. The selected scholar receives a grant of Rs 20 lakh and a contingency grant of Rs 2.50 lakh.
Intern will get 10 thousand rupees per month:
For the internship in Rajya Sabha, students studying in graduation and post-graduation can apply. This internship is also for two months. 10 thousand rupees per month will be given to the selected candidates.
The last date for application is 31 March.

Candidates desirous of internship or fellowship in Rajya Sabha Secretariat have to apply through email. For this, first, download the form from the Rajya Sabha portal https://rajyasabha.nic.in/. After this, fill the application form and mail it.

Selection for internship in Rajya Sabha Secretariat will be done according to the secretariat's instructions while the applications for the fellowship will be considered by the Research Advisory Committee. The members of this committee are elected by the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. If the candidate selected for the fellowship did a job somewhere, then he will have to show a NO objection Certificate.
