New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) co-government chief Manmohan Vaidya has defended the public-targeted magazine 'Panchjanya' by criticizing the giant software Infosys. He has said that Panchajanya is fighting a religious war. Manmohan Vaidya's statement comes at a time when he is being criticized for an article in Panchjanya magazine.
Panchjanya magazine in one of its articles 'Credibility and Trauma' criticized the giant software Infosys and described it as 'anti-national.' During the inauguration of the new office of Panchjanya magazine in Delhi, Manmohan Vaidya even said that when there is a 'religious war,' sometimes even "good people" have to be criticized because they are supporting the wrong side. Earlier, Sunil Ambedkar, the head of publicity at RSS, distanced himself from the idea expressed by Panchjanya on Infosys.
He said that Panchjanya is not the mouthpiece of RSS and the views written on Infosys only convey the spirit of the author. At the event held on September 6, Manmohan Vaidya was seen praising Panchjanya, moving beyond Sunil Ambedkar's view. He said, "Panchajanya is the conch sound of the crusade." He further said that there are two sides to any religious war.
