New Delhi: The Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM), an organization affiliated to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), on Sunday suggested some changes in the law to plug the loopholes in the farmers' movement against the new agricultural laws brought by the central government. He gave and insisted that the government has brought these laws with good intentions.

According to a resolution passed by the SJM, farmers should be guaranteed a minimum support price and purchases below the MSP should be declared illegal. It states that not only the government but also private companies should be prevented from purchasing at a rate lower than the MSP. SJM co-coordinator Ashwani Mahajan said, "The Swadeshi Jagran Manch seems to think that the purchasing companies can exploit the farmers." Therefore, on acceptance of procurement outside the Agricultural Produce Market Committees, farmers should be guaranteed MSP and the purchase should be declared illegal in less than that.

Explain that the farmers' movement has entered the 19th day today. Farmers have been frozen in Delhi for 19 consecutive days amid severe cold and today farmers have announced to go on hunger strike to express their protest.
