RSS sends message to Assam-Mizoram, One Nation One People

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) sent a message of "One Nation, One People" to Assam and Mizoram to uphold the concept of unity. In fact, he has given a message to maintain a "friendly atmosphere" between the two states. Recently senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar made a statement saying, "This is a humble appeal for peace. My dear brothers and sisters from Mizoram and Assam... We have one nation, one Constitution, one national flag and therefore we are one people.''

Let me tell all of you that in the midst of a dispute between the two States, Mizoram police had recently opened fire on a team of Assam officials. Seven Assam Police personnel and one civilian have been killed so far. More than 50 others, including one Superintendent of Police, were injured. Tension prevailed in both the states since the violence, though the Central government is also constantly in the meeting to find a solution. Let us also tell you that earlier, at least 8 people were killed in violence here in 2020.

Senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar, who is the chief patron of the Indian Christian Forum, has issued a video message saying, "This is a humble appeal for peace. My dear brothers and sisters from Mizoram and Assam... We have one nation, one Constitution, one national flag and therefore we are one people. Let us avoid any conflict and maintain peace and create a friendly atmosphere among ourselves for a prosperous great India and beware of instigators.''
