Mangalagiri: Senior TDP leader Gorantla Buchaiya Chowdhury said that the Chief Minister, his ministers and MLAs are speaking out of desperation over the deteriorating image of their party's governance. They were making a desperate attempt to inflame the sentiments by making provocative statements on caste, community and even personal grounds. The main opposition party got just 23 MLAs, but the ruling YSRCP leaders were extremely scared of its protests and activities against the policies of the present regime. Buchaiya Chowdhury asked how the Chief Minister could claim to lead a strong government when he was shaken by every statement and protest by the TDP.

In a statement here, the TDP leader slammed the ruling YSRCP leaders for dragging the mother down to a lower level for playing cheap politics by dragging her into it. On the other hand, the ruling party was using its secret media channels and papers to do malicious and dirty politics. Ministers and MLAs could not engage the people and the opposition in a healthy debate on their policies. The TDP leader once again termed the bail granted to Pattabhiram as a big setback for the Andhra Pradesh Police. Despite such strictness, some police officers were not changing their style and were colluding with the ruling party leaders.

The law and order situation was deteriorating day by day. Due to the deliberate activities of the government, the entire state was suffering irreparable loss. Objecting to the politics of 'destruction', Buchaiya Chowdhury advised the ruling YSRCP leadership to at least now say goodbye to vendetta policies and politics. Any further destruction and chaos would cause such great damage that the state would be pushed into a dire crisis.
