Kyiv: Ukraine's air force reported early on Tuesday that Russia had launched overnight air attacks on the country's south and east using drones and possibly ballistic missiles.
Russian drone attacks were a threat to the southern port of Odesa as well as the regions of Mykolaiv, Donetsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk, the Air Force warned on the Telegram messaging app.
It was also mentioned that Russia might be attacking the areas of Poltava, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Kirovohrad using ballistic weapons.
The reports could not be independently confirmed by Reuters.

Oleh Kiper, the head of the military administration for the Odesa region, claimed that air defense systems there were defending against Russian drone attacks.

Attacks could come in multiple waves, Kiper said on Telegram.
