In the third phase, the vaccine is tested on thousands of people. But Russia has been approved to produce the vaccine only after the Phase 2 test. The third phase test is yet to be done. In this context, it is right to raise questions on Russia's covid-19 vaccine.

However, the concerns expressed about the safety of this vaccine have already been denied by Russia. President Vladimir Putin, with the announcement to develop the vaccine, was said to be completely safe. Putin also told that one of his daughters was also vaccinated between the tests. Russia has said that it will also start production of the vaccine by the end of this month. Russia has named this vaccine Sputnik V, which is based on the name of the world's first satellite. Sputnik satellite was launched by Russia.
