USA: If there are no objections from the parties involved, a deal allowing the secure export of grain from Ukraine's Black Sea ports will be automatically extended after it expires on March 18 TASS, the state news agency of Russia, reported on Wednesday.

According to an unnamed source familiar with the specifics of the agreement's negotiations, TASS reported that none of the parties involved have so far signalled a withdrawal.

While the United Nations vowed to do everything possible to ensure the integrity of the agreement was upheld, Russia on Monday suggested renewing a deal allowing the safe export of grain from Ukraine's Black Sea ports for only half of the 120-day term of the previous renewal.

The deal will continue after March 18 if there are no objections from the parties, the source told TASS. The length of the extension, according to the source, was unimportant.
