Russia will start clinical trial of corona vaccine 'Sputnik V' next week

Moscow: Russia has claimed to be the first country to make a coronavirus vaccine in the world. Although many other countries of the world are questioning the usefulness of this vaccine. But Russia is moving forward with this vaccine. Russia will begin a study on the efficacy and safety of vaccine Sputnik-V next week.

A pre-planned post-registration, placebo-controlled multicenter clinical study of vaccine efficacy, immunogenicity and safety will begin in Russia.  The vaccine will be given to thousands of volunteers next week. More than 40,000 people will be involved in the study in more than 45 medical centres. Details regarding the benefits of the human adenoviral vaccine are given on the 'Sputnik-V' website.

National Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Russia's Government Financial Institution Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) has been made public by launching the website. RDIAS has also invited several foreign institutes for clinical trial and international production of Sputnik-V. Also, RDIAS has launched an information section on sputnikvaccine.com regarding the world's first corona vaccine regarding the human adenoviral vaccine.
