UN: Organization of the United Nations: Despite improvements under the previous administration led by Donald Trump, relations between Russia and the United States are far from normal and appropriate, according to Vassily Nebenzia, Moscow's Permanent Representative to the United Nations. "In general, I'd say there are some things that have changed since the previous administration. There are a couple of conversations that have started "Nebenzia went on to say that one of them is focused on strategic stability. There have already been a couple of rounds, and the conversation has become more business-like, rather than politicised, he said.

"Professionals are among those present. They communicate at the same level. The issues are, of course, extremely complicated. But, and this is critical, the conversation has resumed "he stated

The Biden administration's reaffirmation of the Gorbachev-Reagan formula that no one wins in nuclear war is seen as a very positive signal by Russia, he said. Another important topic of discussion, according to Nebenzia, is cybersecurity. Before Biden took office, Russia offered a meaningful cybersecurity dialogue with the US several times, but the offer was rejected, he said. "Now that we've restarted, we're having a conversation. As far as I'm aware, we agreed with the (US) administration to keep each other informed about any cyberspace incidents that affect both sides "he stated.
