Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Angira Dhar, and Isha Talwar are the stars of the Homi Adajania-directed television series Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo, which is produced by Maddock Films. It will debut on Disney Hotstar on May 5.

As the Disney Hotstar series takes you on a journey that redefines everything you previously believed to be true about the saas-bahu connection, Saas, Bahu aur Flamingo heralds the beginning of saas bahu 2.0. These ladies are nothing less than tough, powerful, and even vicious by choice. The mother-in-law is shamelessly hardcore, and the daughters-in-law are unwavering and fearsome.

The series centers on four remarkable women who live in Hastipur, a remote village in the northwest, including the matriarch Savitri, her daughters-in-law Bijli and Kajal, and her daughter Shanta.

Homi Adajania said, “The women in my show are beyond male suppression and the sexist nature of society. Their characters are fearless. They are not shackled by the power play of any patriarchy, they have understood the system and know how to manipulate it. The great part about this ensemble was that they have the exact same energy and zeal in them.”

Dimple Kapadia smashed her finger during one of the show's action sequences, yet she persisted in punching the door with it for the next four takes. Radhika Madan leaped off a 30-foot-high building and hung precariously from her harness. She simply climbed back up, unfazed in the slightest. Squibs burst on Isha Talwar's face, she went to the hospital, then she came back to the sets. she said ''Then I understood that they are a group of strong women and that I am not going too far with the story.''
