New Delhi: Team India has to play the T20 World Cup in October-November this year. But, before this, the performance of the team in the Asia Cup 2022 season has been very poor. The team could not even reach the final and was knocked out of the tournament after losing to Pakistan-Sri Lanka in the Super-4 stage. Let us tell you that legendary batsman Rahul Dravid became the head coach of Team India after the T20 World Cup last year. After that this Asia Cup was the first major tournament during his tenure. Till now he had guided Team India only in the series. But now seeing the plight of Team India in the Asia Cup, former India selector and player Saba Karim has alerted Dravid.

Saba Karim has said that difficult times have started for Rahul Dravid. Dravid also knows that his honeymoon period is over. Saba Karim told in his statement how Rahul Dravid can make his coaching career successful. Saba Karim said that even Rahul Dravid knows that now his honeymoon period is over. Now he is busy building the perfect team. But so far he has not been seen doing so strongly. However, he is certainly expected to do so. It's a tough time for Rahul Dravid.

Saba Karim further said that 'Rahul is a very intelligent and smart person. He knows that if he wants to make his coaching successful, then firstly he has is to win ICC events and secondly Test series in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand, Australia) countries.' He said, 'I am not just talking about winning the Test. This used to happen even when Rahul Dravid used to play as a player. But if the Indian team wins the Test series in SENA countries, then somewhere else Rahul Dravid will be very happy with the performance of the team.
