Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh assembly by-election has become the centre of controversial statements. In the meantime, an interesting political development is also being seen here. Former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, who openly rebelled against CM Ashok Gehlot in Rajasthan, is campaigning for the Congress in Madhya Pradesh these days. Interestingly, the old Congress colleague and his friend Jyotiraditya Scindia is campaigning for the BJP on the other hand or rather say that Scindia's respect is at stake in this election.
Sachin Pilot has been campaigning for Madhya Pradesh by-election since Tuesday. Voting will be held on 28 seats on 3 November. Most of these seats are those which were vacated by the resignation of the Congress MLAs due to which the Kamal Nath government of the Congress fell. These are all MLA Scindia supporters and the areas where the by-elections are currently taking place are considered to be Scindia's area.
Jyotiraditya Scindia, a Rajya Sabha member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who left the Congress, told on Tuesday that he has welcomed his old colleague Sachin Pilot in Gwalior. On whether the election of Sachin Pilot will have any effect on the election, Scindia said that everyone has every right to campaign. Pilot has to campaign in Gwalior, Shivpuri, Bhind and Morena.
