In the political changes that took place ahead of the Rajasthan Assembly session on Monday, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi called Sachin Pilot and held a discussion. In this, Sachin pilot complained against CM Ashok Gehlot, then the high command gave assurance of finding a solution. Pilot also committed to continuing his political innings with the Congress. The high command has also announced the formation of a three-member committee to look into the grievances of Sachin Pilot and his supporting MLAs.

While the Congress has tried to get the number game in the Rajasthan Assembly, the support of its camp's colleagues is also being lost. Sachin Pilot also seems to be a safer option to stay under in the party. In a meeting that lasted more than two hours at the residence of Rahul Gandhi, Pilot discussed with the high command on the return of rebel MLAs.

Priyanka Gandhi was not only present throughout this time but was also very active in removing the obstacles coming in the return of the rebels. Party sources said that "Sachin Pilot and his supporters will not get immediate posts, but the final decision for reconciliation will come based on the report of the committee made to look into the complaints of Pilot and other rebel MLAs. There is little scope for Pilot's return to the dual post of Deputy CM and State Congress President. Options are open for Sachin Pilot to become the CM candidate in the upcoming elections.
