New Delhi: Former Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot has requested to help the flood-affected people in Assam and Bihar. He tweeted and wrote, 'My condolences to all the flood-affected people in Assam and Bihar. In Assam alone, more than 68 people have died due to floods, and 36 lakh people have been affected. I urge all Indians to come together in the terrible situation of this flood and cooperate in the efforts being made to help the affected people.'
This latest tweet of Sachin Pilot has come out in the middle of the political ruckus in Rajasthan. Actually ,there is dispute between CM Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot in Rajasthan. The Congress central leadership preferred Ashok Gehlot, dismissing Sachin Pilot as Rajasthan Congress President and Deputy Chief Minister. Amid this political turmoil, Sachin Pilot also spoke to veteran Congress leader P Chidambaram. It is being told that Chidambaram invited Sachin Pilot to come back to the Congress and said that the rebellion would be forgotten. Sachin Pilot has also been assured to be given a big post in the central leadership.
On the other hand, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala has also given his opinion on the tweeter regarding the political fire in Rajasthan. Surjewala wrote that, 'Consciousness is not a party ticket. What is the risk of totalitarianism? This makes everyone a co-criminal. Good and bad, simple and reckless .... '
