In a press conference, Tendulkar took quite a few questions pertaining to the upcoming World Cup. While he has backed Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team for the ultimate glory, he revealed Afghanistan's name who can pose some serious threat and pull off few surprises in the 10-nation tournament.

He said, "It is one team I think which will be a surprise in the World Cup... Afghanistan has one of the best spin attacks in the world... It is a surprise package."
Coming from Tendulkar, one of the finest batsmen of all time and someone who has the ability to read the game even after retirement, Afghanistan cricket team will be thrilled to bits to hear such claims. The Gulbadin Naib-led side will open their World Cup campaign versus Aaron Finch-led Australia on June 1 at County Ground, Bristol.
