Etawah: A horrific road accident took place in Etawah district of UP. The car of 4 friends returning from Mainpuri after attending the Tilak program collided with a tractor fitted with a thresher. The accident took place near Makhanpur village of Sirsaganj. Seven people including four people in the car and three people in the thresher were injured in the accident. All were taken to Saifai Medical College, where three friends resident of Etawah and a thresher rider from Mainpuri died.

According to the news received, Dheeraj age 18 years son Ram Prakash resident Sarai Dayanad police station civil line district Etawa had gone to Mainpuri district on Friday to attend the Tilak of his neighbor Baki Lal's son-in-law's sister. With them, Ankit age 20 years son Brijesh, Neeraj age 17 years son Dharamjit and Tejpal age 22 years son Dilasaram resident of Lohanna Adda police station went to civil line.

After attending the same ceremony, everyone left for Etawah at around 12 o'clock in the car. On the way, the car entered the tractor coming from behind with a thresher machine near village Makhanpur on Karhal Sirsaganj road. In this, 7 people including four friends in the car and 3 youths riding on the tractor's thresher machine were seriously injured. All were admitted to Medical University Saifai, where at the time of treatment, car rider Ankit, Dheeraj, Tejpal and Thresher rider Shivram Singh, age 60, resident of Ramgopal, Mohalla Tapan Garia police station, Karhal district, Mainpuri, died.
