New Delhi: Wrestler Sushil Kumar, who was lodged in Tihar jail in the Sagar Dhankhar murder case, has now written to the jail administration seeking television. He has written in the letter that he does not feel good in jail. If he get a television, it will be good. In the Sagar Dhankhar murder case, criminal Sushil Kumar has written to the Tihar jail administration seeking television. He wrote, 'I don't feel good in jail. If you provide me television, it will help me to stay updated with the sporting world'.
Sushil Kumar is currently in judicial custody. He has been shifted from Mandoli jail to Tihar some time ago. Earlier, when Sushil Kumar was lodged in Mandoli jail, he had filed a petition in a Delhi court seeking high protein diet. He had said that the food being served to him in jail was not good. So he should be given a protein diet. However, his plea was dismissed by the court.
In fact, Sushil Kumar had arrived with some of his friends at Chhatrasal stadium in Delhi on the night of May 4-5. Here they assaulted wrestler Sagar Dhankhar who sustained severe injuries in the assault and later died. Sushil Kumar had fled from there the next day after the incident. Sushil Kumar was finally taken into custody by the Special Cell of Delhi Police.
