Ranchi: Sakshi, the wife of Team India wicketkeeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni, expressed her displeasure on social media about the power cut in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand.
Sakshi took to social media about the electric shortage in her area. She updated her Instagram status and showed that there is no festival nor bad weather, yet there was no electricity for the past 5 hours. Sakshi had also posted a picture of a part of the house in Simaria in her status on Instagram.
At around 5 pm on Thursday, Sakshi wrote on Twitter that there has been no electricity for the last 5 hours. Whereas today the weather is also clear and there is no festival. Sakshi expressed the hope in the tweet that those responsible will solve the problem soon. As soon as Sakshi's tweet went viral, Jharkhand Urja Vitran Nigam Limited has said that a new sub station is being built near Thakur village. For this, power supply was stopped due to installation of 33 KVA power transformers. Due to this, there was no electricity for 7 hours in the areas of Cimaria, Retail Delatoli, Pandra, Friends Colony. A prior notice of this was also released.
However, Sakshi is also very happy due to her husband Mahendra Singh Dhoni returning to her home after so many days. On Thursday, she herself arrived at the airport to receive Mahi. Actually MS Dhoni was on army duty in Kashmir after World Cup. After which he did not return to Ranchi and after army duty, Dhoni has reached Ranchi for his first time today.
