There has been a piece of big news about Salman Khan. In fact, he filed a defamation case against Ketan Kakkar, a resident of Malad in Mumbai. In fact, Ketan owns a hilly land right next to Salman's Panvel farmhouse. Salman says Kakkar has defamed a YouTuber while giving him an interview. Yes, and two others who were part of the show were allegedly made party in the case. Not only that, social media companies like Google, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook were also made parties. In fact, Salman Khan wants these companies to remove and block abusive content against him on their sites.
A report by a well-known website has revealed that Salman's petition states that the court has been asked by a temporary order and injunction to him "to load/upload, post, repost, tweet, retweet, interview, host, print, publish, Broadcasting, communicating with any other or other defamatory content and/or making derogatory comments should be prevented.''
Let me tell all of you that yesterday, 14th January, Judge Anil H. Laddad heard Salman Khan's case. During the hearing, Salman's lawyer for a legal firm called DSK Legal came. The lawyers appealed for an injunction (order not to do so) against Ketan Kakkar. On the other hand, advocates Abha Singh and Aditya Pratap, who represent Ketan Kakkar, reportedly opposed it saying that they had received documents in the evening and did not even get time to look into the entire case.
In this case, Abha Singh said that if Salman can wait for a month to file a suit, certainly Ketan Kakkar should be given some time to give his reply. Justice Laddad then gave Kakkar's lawyers time to file their replies and since then adjourned the case and posted the matter for hearing on January 21.
