Salman Khan, was clearly in his zone at the Filmfare Awards announcement on Wednesday evening. From mocking award presentations to claiming that Bollywood's five superstars will continue to give the younger generation a run for their money, the Bollywood star kept the crowd delighted. The actor also used the chance to push for censorship on OTT, stating that 'clean content' always performs better. He also stated that performers who do not want to execute daring sequences are left behind.

Salman Khan said how those who did not receive a lot of work in the film industry got it in the television industry. He also said, “I think the first one to start this off was Ram Gopal Varma, one of the first few to do that kind of stuff on OTT. After that people started watching it and I just think that I don’t believe in that kind of content. I mean I have been here since 1989 and I have never done any of this kind of stuff so I just think that there should be a censor on OTT and all this vulgarity, nudity, ‘gaali galoch’ should stop.” He also added that, Hindi films were failing because the "wrong films" were being made.

Salman made his Bollywood debut in the 1988 film Biwi Ho Toh Aisi as a supporting actor. The next year, with the success of his film Maine Pyar Kiya, he established himself as a starring man. Bhaijaan's films have thrilled millions of fans since then, and he is now one of Bollywood's highest-paid stars.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, directed by Farhad Samji, is his upcoming film. Pooja Hegde, Palak Tiwari, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, and Shehnaaz Gill are featured in the cast. Fans will get to watch Tere Naam co-stars Salman and Bhumika re-share the screen for the second time. The third edition of the Tiger series, again starring Katrina Kaif, is in the making. He was most recently featured in Pathaan, a smash cameo starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
