Salman Khan’s upcoming film Bharat is making quite buzz since its announcement. When it was announced that Salman Khan will be paired opposite Priyanka Chopra in Bharat, fans of both the stars got a reason to celebrate. However, just before the film’s shooting was set to begin, director Ali Abbas Zafar announced that the actress is no more a part of the film, and hinted that her marriage to Nick Jonas is the reason behind her exit. At the launch of Bharat’s new song, Zinda, Katrina Kaif, who is roped in place of Priyanka’ said, “I was aware that Priyanka is doing the film, but one day, Ali called me and told me that things did not work out according to plan and that he is sending me the script of the film. He just asked me to read it and react. There was no pressure on me to say yes to it because we are friends. I read it and I told him that this is the best script he has written so far and I loved the role. So, I said yes.”
After Katrina said this, Salman exclaimed, “Thank you, Priyanka.” This remark indicates that he is happy that Katrina did the film.
