Lucknow: The Jharkhand assembly is continuing to discuss the allotment of separate rooms for praying. Now the issue has started being discussed up to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and even in the Assembly, such a system is being demanded. MLA Irfan Solanki of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh has demanded that there should be room for prayer in the UP assembly as well. The SP MLA said that there is a problem in praying during the session, so it would be a proper decision keeping in view the faith.

Apart from Uttar Pradesh, the issue is also on the swing in Bihar. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Haribhushan Thakur has demanded that a separate room be provided for reciting Hanuman Chalisa in the Bihar Assembly and also to declare Tuesday as a holiday. Bjp MLA said the Constitution gives equal rights to all, if they are getting room for prayer, why not Hanuman Chalisa. Haribhushan Thakur says he will talk to the Assembly Speaker on the issue, everyone has the same right to worship.

The RJD has hit back at the BJP's demand. RJD's Mrityunjay Tiwari says a decision has been taken in view of the situation in Jharkhand, if required, a room can also be allotted for Chandi lessons. Allotting rooms for prayer is not a matter of politics.
