Ayodhya: Farhan, son of senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Abu Azmi, has made objectionable statements about the Ayodhya Ram temple. He said that he would build the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. According to news agency ANI, Farhan said 'Uddhav Thackeray, being CM, says that he is going to Ayodhya on 7 March. So I will go with them. He will build the temple of Lord Rama and we will build the Babri Masjid.

It is noteworthy that CM of Maharashtra and Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray will visit Ayodhya in March to mark 100 days in power. Let us tell you that Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray will visit Ayodhya for the first time after the results of the Maharashtra Assembly elections in October last year, after breaking ties with BJP and National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Uddhav Thackeray had postponed the proposed Ayodhya Yatra on 24 November 2019, after the core committee of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) settled the issue of formation of an alternative government in the state. Shiv Sena then formed a government in alliance with NCP and Congress and on 28 November 2019, Thackeray was sworn in as CM of Maharashtra.
