Lucknow: Before the commencement of the session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Samajwadi Party (SP) MLAs and members of the Legislative Council staged a massive protest at the Vidhan Bhavan and raised anti-government slogans. In front of the statue of Chaudhary Charan Singh, members of the Samajwadi Party shouted slogans against the government. Even after the Corona period, the attitude of the SP MLAs appeared as sharp as ever.

SP legislators protested against the government on issues like law and order, crime, health system, management during the pandemic, unemployment. These people also raised the issue of releasing Azam Khan. Several MLAs appeared to protest wearing PPE kits. They said that the state government has failed to deal with the situation in Corona. Corona patients are not getting beds, inferior PPE kits are being given to physicians. Saidpur MLA Subhash Passi said that he had provided one crore rupees from his MLA fund, but even after six months ventilators were not installed in the hospitals in his area. Now the public is asking questions.

Some MLAs appeared wearing handcuffs. He said that criminals are free in the state while the innocent are being imprisoned. That is why this state has become a state of crime. Some MLAs spoke of the problems of the farmers. Their performance continued for more than an hour.
