Shahjahanpur: The Samajwadi Party (SP) delegation, met with the victim who accused Swami Chinmayananda of sexual abuse in UP's Shahjahanpur district, has been stopped at the jail gate, after which SP activists created a ruckus. Unhappy over not being allowed to go to jail, the SP workers sat on a strike at the jail gate and accused the government of killing democracy.

The administration says that the SP delegation did not take permission from the district administration. So they were not allowed to meet. Actually, Samajwadi Party delegation came here from Lucknow today to meet the victim. The delegation was headed by Ruchi Singh and he was accompanied by a large number of activists including SP's MLA, MLC and District President.

The delegation says that the UP government has come down on its own accord and is doing the work of killing democracy. SP Delegation demands that all the cases registered on the victim be withdrawn. At the same time, the SP has threatened that if the delegation is not allowed to meet the victim inside the jail, then he will strongly oppose it in the whole of Uttar Pradesh.
