Lucknow: After five years, the National Convention of the Samajwadi Party (SP) will be held in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow on Wednesday (September 28). In this, party chief Akhilesh Yadav will prepare a strong team of his party with a complete focus on the Lok Sabha elections. The two-day SP convention will see the national and state organisation being rebuilt.

This event of the party is considered very special in terms of Mission 2024. The SP is preparing to select strong candidates for the Lok Sabha seats. But before this, they are preparing to show their strength in the municipal elections. The state convention will be held on the first Wednesday at Ramabai Ambedkar Maidan. The next day, a national conference will be held on September 29. In this, Akhilesh Yadav's presidency will be stamped again, as well as the party will pass political and economic resolutions.

In this conference, a special focus will be on the reservation, and caste census. The SP is yet to clarify whether it will accept the leadership of the Congress in the anti-BJP front or support Bihar CM Nitish Kumar in fulfilling his political ambitions. In this regard, it is possible that the SP will clarify its opinion at the national conference, but it is certain that the SP wants to play an important role in this possible front.
