The South Film Industry is seeing more thriller films than ever before. Taapsee Pannu's game over starts with many horror-thriller films coming out these days like Raghav Lawrence's Kanchana, franchise and Arnamai franchise. And we can't help seeing all of these. However Samantha Akkineni starring Nayantara's Maiya and Pawan Kumar's U-Turn directed by Ashwin Saravanan was well received by critics. Both films were of the horror genre, and both of them have been well appreciated by the audience.
The U-turn was about the story of a haunted road, and how people who don't follow the traffic rules on that particular road are mysteriously dying. It revolves around Samantha Akkineni, who plays a journalist who tries to unravel the mysteries. Only to find out that they were all killed by the spirit of a mother and her child, as they were both killed on the same road in an accident.
The film would have taken him to one end of his seat and every scene had nail-pimples and twists. On the other hand, Mayan of Nayantara was the story of the soul of a woman, whose name was Maya. Maya and her child were separated by their relatives, who claimed that Maya was mentally ill. He was thrown into a mental shelter inside a terrible forest. Maya is driven to despair, even though she was completely sensible in the beginning. He was subjected to medical experiments that eventually killed him. With this, both the films are very spectacular.
