Popular actress Samantha Akkineni of Telugu cinema industry has turned 35 today. Born on 28 April 1987 in Chennai, Samantha studied at Holy Angels Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School. After this she did her graduation from Stella Maris College, Chennai. She started her career with modeling.

Samantha started her film career by debuting in the year 2010 with the Telugu film 'Yeh Maya Chesaw'. This was a romantic drama film in which Naga Chaitanya was seen with her. Samantha tied the knot two years ago with her boyfriend Naga Chaitanya, son of South film industry's superstar Nagarjuna. Samantha has won film awards 23 times in her film career. Samantha has worked with superstar actors of South bigger than Vikram, Mahesh Babu, Junior ANTR, Allu Arjun.

Samantha is one of the costliest actresses in South film industry, she charges 2 to 3 crores for a film. Samantha drives expensive cars like BMW, Jaguar and Mercedes. Samantha will be seen in the biopic of the famous 1950s actress Savitri. Apart from this, she will be seen in the Tamil film 'Seema Raja'. This film was released on 13 September this year.
