One of the most loved actresses grabbed all the limelight by her item song Oh Antava, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set for her Bollywood opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. The movie is being produced by Dinesh Vijan.
According to a close source, “Samantha plays the role of a princess and will be seen paired opposite Ayushmann, who enacts the role of a vampire. The film is based on a folklore story from Rajasthan and expands Dinesh Vijan’s proposed Horror-Comedy Cinematic Universe, which began with Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree and continues with the forthcoming movies, Bhediya and Munjha, starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, respectively,"
The plot is based on Rajasthani folklore and is believed to be an extension of Dinesh Vijan's Horror-Comedy Cinematic Universe that houses Stree, and will feature upcoming movies such as Bhediya, and Munjha.
Earlier Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu also confirms a project with Samantha in which Samantha is playing the lead and Taapsee is producing the film, "There is something that we are working together on. We will announce what it is very soon. But yes, we are working on something together. I will be producing it. If there is a part in it that I can do, then I would, but she (Samantha Ruth Prabhu) is going to be leading it. There is a different kind of excitement."
On the Work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Ayushmann will wind up their pending projects. The actress was last seen sharing screen space with fellow superstars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhaal.
