Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the renowned actresses in the South Industry. The actress is all set to restart the shoot of her forthcoming Telugu romantic film Kushi, in which they paired her against Vijay Devarakonda. Samantha had to pause all her work commitments as she was going through treatment for myositis.

The south sensation took to social media to share update about her upcoming Telugu romantic drama Kushi with Vijay Devarakonda. The actress responded to a fan of Vijay Devarakonda. She also apologized to Vijay Deverakonda’s fans.  The actress replying to a question from a fan about when she will resume shoot for Kushi. She wrote, “Kushi will resume very soon. My apologies to Vijay Deverakonda fans.” As soon as it caught the eyes of people they started commenting on it  . One user tweeted, “Thank you, Samantha. But please take care of yourself .” Another user wrote, “Such a sweet gesture .”

On the work front, The actress is all set for her film Kalidasa's Abhijnana Shakuntalam. The story revolves around an epic love story of Shakuntala and King Dushyant of Mahabharat. This prestigious project has its music composed by Mani Sharma. The ensemble star cast includes Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Madhu Bala, Gautami and many other notable actors. The filming for Shaakuntalam was wrapped up in August 2021. Allu Arjun's daughter, Allu Arha will also be making her Tollywood debut as prince Bharata in Shaakuntalam.  The film will be released in Telugu Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada on February 17, 2023.
