New Delhi: BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra recently had a press conference in Delhi. At the same time, he discussed the issue of corruption with Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. During this, he has taken a dig at Congress on the rape and women's statement given by Ashok Gehlot. In fact, in the press conference, he said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working against corruption. There is a campaign against corruption in the country. We have a zero-tolerance motto about corruption on this. Congress is trying to create riots and ruckus on the pretext of protesting over the investigation of the National Herald case.''

Apart from this, he also said in his statement that, 'This is a case of 2013.' At the same time, within the Congress in 1960, a book by four-time Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrabhanu Gupta has been published. He has written in his book, "Many types of questions arise about the funding of the National Herald. This newspaper is meant to glorify Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi and its funding is messed up.'' He further said that, if any agency investigates its funding, then a big disclosure will be made.

Apart from this, during the press conference, Sambit Patra further talked and also condemned Ashok Gehlot's statement in which he made controversial remarks about rape and women. In fact, in his statement, he said that his statement is insensitive to women.
