Recently Samsung India has announced a scholarship for 560 students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya under its Samsung Star India program. Of these 560 scholarships, 150 are for new applicants and 410 existing scholarships are being renewed. This scholarship will be given to those students of JNV who are pursuing or taking BTech / Dual degree (BTech MTech) in Indian Institute of Technology or National Institute of Technology.

Applications are being taken for the academic year 2019-2020 scholarship. The last date for submission of applications and all documents is December 10, 2019. The application form has to be filled and sent to the given address. Under this scholarship, students get Rs 2 lakh for tuition, examination, hostels, and mess in the first year. Scholarships can also be awarded next year based on certain rules.

According to the information received, the first-year scholarship is awarded on the basis of All India Ranking in JEE Main. But for a scholarship from second to the fourth year, it is mandatory for the student to exceed SGPA or CGPA 5.
