New Delhi:- Samsung received pre-orders for 100,000 units of its new high-end folding phones, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5, in the first 28 hours of bookings in India.

Samsung said that they received 1. 7 times more pre-bookings for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 in the first 28 hours compared to the previous models, Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4.

The company released the devices on July 26th and started accepting pre-orders on July 27th, 2023. The devices that are produced in India will be available for purchase starting from August 18.

The Galaxy Fold 5 costs around Rs. In simpler terms, the number is 154,000 rupees. The price for each item varies from 1. 85 lakhs, depending on the storage space, which can range from 256GB to 1TB. The Samsung Galaxy Flip 5 will be sold at prices starting from Rs. 99,999 and Rs. means that the number is 99,999 and the currency is in Indian Rupees. The cost for each item is 1,09,999.

According to Techarc, a company that studies the market and analyzes data, foldable smartphones (including ones that can be flipped) will make up more than 1. 8 percent of all the money made from selling smartphones in 2023.

The prediction suggests that more than 635,000 foldable smartphones will be purchased in India this year. However, this will make up less than 0. 5% of the total sales volume expected for the period.
