Two of the most iconic actors, Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff are making their comeback together after 19 years in "Prassthanam" and both are seen together on screen after such a long time will be a double delight for the audience.

The trailer of the film depicts the story of the fight for inheritance in a political scene and in the trailer, Sanjay Dutt, who appears to be the leader of a political party, has people against him and Jackie Shroff is one of them, With them in a face-off situation. But the climax of the trailer has left us in the middle of who will get the leader's throne after him for the political party!

The pair was well-liked by the audience in the film Khalnayak and Mission Kashmir and now that they are coming back together again, the excitement of the fans is at the peak awaiting the release of the film.

Like Kabir Singh, which was a cult film, Prassthanam is also set to attract mass audiences with its story. Interestingly, both the South Indian film and the Hindi remake are the film's director Dev Katta as the producers wanted to retain the film's authenticity in the Hindi version, so they decided to include the original director.

Set on a contemporary political family in Lucknow, "Prassthanam" will answer complex questions like religion, morality, will, right and wrong. Ali Fazal plays the role of one of Dutt's sons in the film, who is his desired successor, while other important roles will be played by Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Satyajit Dubey, Manisha Koirala and Amaira Dastur.

"Prassthanam" has been produced by Sanjay's wife Manyata Dutt and the film is set for release in theaters on September 20, 2019.
