The next outing of Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan has been highly anticipated after Pathaan’s excellent performance at the box office. While the movie is in its last shooting schedule, a new report states that a highly action-packed sequence between SRK and Sanjay Dutt will be shot in a day or two and has only a few days left for the final wrap-up of the shoot. The film is around 10 to 12 days away from completion.
It will be a brief but effective and action-packed cameo, The duo will be shooting together over the next 4 to 5 days at a studio in Mumbai, and it’s a big dramatic action scene forming an integral part of the film’s narrative.
The makers chose Sanjay Dutt for an undisclosed role since the character needed to be someone with a strong screen presence. Sanjay Dutt arrived to Bombay on Sunday at midday from his Leo shoot in Kashmir, and now, 24 hours later, he is ready to shoot an action scene with SRK for Jawan.
Shah Rukh Khan meanwhile will soon start the process of shortlisting the scripts that can qualify for being his next post Dunki. He is confirmed to do a two-hero film with Salman Khan forming part of the YRF Spy Universe, but the dates are later in 2024. There is a possibility of one home production before moving on to the epic clash of Pathaan and Tiger.
While Deepika Padukone was reportedly going to join the cast for a two-day shoot on March 27 and 28, Jawaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, is still in the final stages of production. Also, there are rumours that the film's planned June 2 release date has been changed to September or December.
