This Saturday, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black settled 12 years which came into theatres on February 4, 2005. The story was about a deaf and blind girl who maintains a relation with her teacher who lately unfolded Alzheimer's disease himself acted by Rani Mukherjee and Bollywood's megastar Amitabh Bachchan, respectively. The script was inspired by the Life and struggle by Helen Keller.

On the completion of 10+2 years, BigB burst out that he denied taking a salary from SLB because for him, working with Bhansali was "sufficient fees." The personable thing was that Amitji won National Award and Rani Mukherjee got Filmfare for the same.

“I had just wanted to work with Sanjay, after seeing all other works he had done. And when the opportunity came, it was quite overwhelming. I did not take any salary for the film. Just being a part of such an enterprise, was sufficient fees,” the legend blogged.

Amitji further revealed “He (Bhansali) built the first set of the house at a new floor at Film City, the first set to be put up on this floor. I was shooting for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ in Film City and Bhansali invited me to come over and see the set. It was magnificent! And just before I entered, Bhansali had lit up the place with candles. It looked heavenly,”

This is what the actor has all to say about his one of the cherished movies.
