Lucknow: Nishad Party National President Sanjay Nishad has reversed his statement to become deputy chief minister. He says he doesn't want to be deputy chief minister. He also said he had never wanted the post of deputy chief minister for the alliance.

In fact, it was the suggestion of his society that he should be made deputy chief minister of the state. However, they have no such desire. Sanjay Nishad also clarified that he is very happy to be an MLC. It may be recalled that Sanjay Nishad had expressed his desire for the post of DEPUTY CM of UP a few days ago. He had said that his society wanted him to be given the post of deputy chief minister. However, now he has reversed his own statement.

He has said he is quite happy as an MLC. Earlier Sanjay Nishad was said to have found a place in the Yogi cabinet expansion. However this thing just proved to be a rumour. Sanjay Nishad has not got the ministerial post. In view of the upcoming assembly elections in UP, the BJP's alliance with the Nishad Party has been agreed upon. Dharmendra Pradhan has announced that BJP will contest the assembly elections along with Nishad Party.
