The movie released on June 29 at the box office. According to reports, it has got more than 4000 screenings across the country and 5300 across worldwide. Sanju's advance booking is still continuing. Trade experts believe that the film can do the business of 30-35 crore on the first day. In this sense, the movie will easily cross 100 crore business in the opening weekend. With this, the film will become the biggest opener of the year 2018.

Salman Khan's film Race 3 had earned Rs 29.17 crore in Opening Day. This is the biggest opener of 2018. It has left behind Padmavat and Baagh 2.
