England team is seeing a tough time against the Indian spin attack and particularly Ravichandran Ashwin who has taken 15 wickets in the 3 matches so far. Indian pitches have always been the advantage for the spin bowlers and this we can see with the performance of Adil Rashida and Moin Ali as well.
England cricket board have already got the idea that how crucial it would be to concentrate on the spin side and that was the reason Adil Rashid was added to the squad despite having a batsman profile. Before the start of series against India, ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board) hired former Pakistan Spinner Saqlain Mushtaq to guide the boys for the first two test matches.
Now the board has decided to continue the services for the coming ODI series as well. England team will be playing 3 match ODI series against India starting from 15th January.
"I faced no problems and it was a good experience for me as a bowling coach and consultant," Saqlain said.
Being asked about work for Pakistan team he said,“It is a matter of pride for me that I am asked to help spinners from different countries but my wish is still to give something back to Pakistan cricket,” he said.
“I am ready to offer my services to the Pakistan Cricket Board whenever they need me.”
