Producer and Actress Sargun Mehta took to her social media handle to share a woman’s hardship, which got cruelly beaten up by her husband. While the woman in the same video is speaking about how she has been dealing with domestic violence after giving birth to two girls, the actress shared the clip and raised her voice against such hypocrite act.
The actress in a long caption wrote, “WALK OUT on the first red flags of violence ... you don’t need to bear this. Even if your friends and family doesn’t support your decision of walking out call cops around you or speak up on a social media platform or to anyone who you think can help. NO ONE DESERVES THIS. THE MAN BEATS HER EVERYDAY BECAUSE SHE GAVE HIM 2 GIRLS AND NO SON. Which year and day are we living in. I hope he gets arrested and put behind bars. There are clips of him verbally abusing her and physically assaulting her. She couldn’t take it no more. But WE CANT HAVE MORE CASES LIKE THIS. PLEASE SPEAK UP. YOU DESERVE BETTER... YOU DESERVE A NORMAL LIFE. I KNOW IT TAKES A LOT OF STRENGTH TO WALK OUT BUT YOU NEED TO. She left her 2 girls aged 4 and 6 behind and currently are with the husband... This is not why they came into this world. Please uplift people around you to speak up for what they are going through. PLEASE.”
The woman, who goes by the name of Mandeep, committed suicide after suffering for 8 years. A social media platform, which helps domestic and sexual abuse victims, originally shared the clip of Mandeep and wrote, “Mandeep suffered for 8 years and took her life as a result of domestic violence. I am so sorry that you were not able to receive the support, respect and love you deserved. Rest in Peace Love.”
Currently, the husband and his family have fled with the two daughters aged 6 and 4.
