New Delhi: A video of Delhi Jail Minister Satyendar Jain getting a massage in Tihar Jail has gone viral. The legal team of Delhi Jails Minister Satyendar Jain, who is now in jail, approached the special court on Saturday (November 19, 2022) seeking contempt action against the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Let me tell you that, the ED had arrested Satyendar Jain on charges of corruption, after which Jain had said in response to the questions of the investigating agency that, 'My memory has gone, I do not remember anything.'
However, now Jain's legal team has accused the ED of leaking the CCTV video even after his affidavit in the court. In this case, Special Judge Vikas Dhull has issued a notice to the ED and sought a reply. The matter will be heard on November 21. At the same time, swords have been drawn between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the BJP on this matter. Satyendar Jain's lawyer Mohammad Irshad tweeted, "Special court issues contempt of court notice to ED on Satyendar Jain's application to leak Tihar CCTV footage to BJP and others. The court will hear the matter on Monday as to how the BJP got the confidential footage and why it was circulated."

At the same time, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has clarified on the massage case of AAP leader Satyendar Jain while addressing a press conference. Sisodia said "Satyendar Jain has been in jail for the last six months. He fell in jail during this time, due to which he had an injury to his spine and underwent surgery. After which the doctor advised him to take therapy.'' However, Sisodia did not say what 3-4 other people were doing in the jail along with Jain. Are such meetings also allowed in jail?

Let us inform you that Jail Minister Satyendar Jain in the Delhi Government was arrested on 30 May 2022 on charges of money laundering. Earlier, the ED had attached immovable properties worth Rs 4.81 crore of Satyendar Jain's family and companies. Jain is alleged to have created several shell companies in Delhi and laundered black money of Rs 16.39 crore through 54 shell companies of three Kolkata-based hawala operators. At the same time, after the arrest, Satyendar Jain said in the ED's interrogation that, I have lost my memory and I do not remember anything.
