New Delhi: A video of Cabinet Minister Satyendar Jain getting a massage from Delhi's Tihar Jail is going viral, in which he is seen getting a massage. The BJP has attacked the Aam Aadmi Party over this. BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said the Aam Aadmi Party government violated jail rules and instead of punishment, Satyendar Jain was being given full VVIP pleasure.  

In the CCTV footage of Tihar Jail, Satyendar Jain is seen lying on the bed and looking at some documents. Due to this, a person is massaging his foot. Satyendar Jain is getting a massage by placing his feet on top of him. Earlier, the ED, which is investigating money laundering against Satyendar Jain, had filed a complaint in the court. The ED had alleged that Satyendar Jain was being given special treatment in Tihar Jail. The ED had also given all the data related to Satyendar Jain to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The ED has alleged that Satyendar Jain is taking advantage of the facilities in connivance with jail officials while in Tihar Jail. Subsequently, the Ministry of Home Affairs had sought a report from the Chief Secretary of the Government of Delhi in the matter.

The ED had said in its complaint to the court that Satyendar Jain was violating jail rules. Not only this, the ED had also submitted all the CCTV footage of Satyendar Jain's luxury treatment to the court. The ED had said in its complaint that Satyendar Jain is being given all facilities like head massage, foot massage, and back massage in Tihar Jail. Subsequently, on November 14, 58 jail staff of jail number 7 were transferred, including four senior officers. Of these, all warders, including 2 deputy jailors, 3 assistant jailers, and 7 head warders, were transferred. Besides, the jail superintendent of jail number 7 Ajit Kumar has already been suspended. Ashok Rawat, superintendent of jail number 5, was given additional responsibility for this jail.
