Dubai: Shah Salmaan of Saudi Arabia has ordered the cancellation of the provision of capital punishment for offenses committed by minors. The top official has given information in this regard in a statement. Prior to this decision, in another decision, the provision to punish the judges for whipping was abolished and instead it was ordered to impose imprisonment, fine or community service.

The most disputed form of punishment in the empire has been ended. It is being told that behind these decisions is Shah Salmaan's son and successor,  (Crown Prince) Mohammed bin Salmaan.
