Kolkata: Sourav Ganguly, the BCCI chief and former captain of the Indian cricket team, will be discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. Sourav is undergoing treatment at the Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata, where he was admitted on Saturday following a cardiac arrest problem. Dr. Rupali Basu, CEO, and MD of the hospital gave this information. He said that his health will be looked after at home.

Ganguly underwent angioplasty on Saturday. He was admitted to the hospital due to chest pain. According to the hospital, the next angioplasty for the remaining blockages in Sourav Ganguly's heart vein will be decided later, as he is much better than before. He has been asked to rest at home. The medical board meeting of the Woodlands Hospital was held on Monday, where further treatment plans were discussed with Sourav Ganguly's family members.

Board members reviewed Sourav Ganguly's medical records and his current status. On this basis, he will be discharged from the hospital. Dr. Rupali Basu said that the doctor will keep a constant watch on the health status of Ganguly and on discharge from the hospital, health plans will be prepared for him even at home.
