New Delhi: Former India captain and BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly was about to return to the cricket field after almost 10 years, but has now taken a break from it. In fact, Ganguly has withdrawn his name from the Legends Cricket League citing personal reasons and lack of time. Let us know that, on the occasion of The Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, a match is to be played between The Indian Maharaja and the World Giants on September 16 this year.

The match between the two legendary teams will be played at the historic Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata. A source close to Ganguly has informed that Dada will not play this match due to personal reasons. Later, Ganguly also confirmed this while talking to the media. Ganguly has made it clear that he will not play in this match due to lack of time. He said "Yes, I am not playing due to lack of time. I was going to play only one charity match.''
