The State Bank of India is making recruitments to clerk posts across the country. The process of applying online to the posts of clerks is over. The last date of application for the same was 20th May. Online prelims examination, online main examination and local language examination selected by candidates will be conducted for selection of candidates for the posts of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) in the clerical cadre. The pre-examination will be of 1 hour with a total of 100 questions related to English language, numerical ability and logical ability. 100 marks will be fixed for the pre-examination. The pre-examination will also have negative marking of 0.25 marks. Candidates who pass the pre-exam will get an opportunity to appear for the main examination.

Pay Scale:-
As per official notification, junior associates (clerks) will be paid salary on pay scale of 11765-655/3-13730-815/3-16175-980/4-20095-1145/7-28110-2120/1-30230-1310/1-31540 This means that the initial salary for a candidate will be Rs.11,765, with a year-on-year increment of Rs.655 with basic salary, while most of the basic salary of SBI clerk will be Rs.31,450 per month. The total salary including all allowances at the total current rate in a metro city is 23600/- – Rupees will be per month.
