Mumbai: Bollywood emperor Amitabh Bachchan has got a new tenant as the state bank of India (SBI). The country's largest bank has leased the ground floor of a property owned by Big B in Mumbai's posh Juhu area. According to media reports, the state-run bank has tied up with Bollywood star and his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan.

Under this, they will lease 3,150 sq ft in a building near Jalsa, their family residence in Juhu. Pratiksha, Janak, Ammu and Vats bungalows are also located in Bachchan's Juhu. The bank will pay Rs 18.9 lakh as monthly rental for a lease of 15 years. The fare will also be increased by 25 per cent every five years. This information is seen in documents accessed through real estate analytics and research company Zapkey.com.

State that in the first five years, SBI will have to pay Rs 18.9 lakh per month. The fare increased to Rs 23.62 lakh in the next five years and Rs 29 for the last five years. However, Amitabh Bachchan and SBI have not responded so far after such reports.
