New Delhi, On Monday, the Supreme Court has ruled that former chief ministers are not entitled to government accommodation.

The SC said in an order on Monday, "Any such possession of government accommodation should be vacated within two months”.

While passing the order, the Supreme Court ordered that the Former Chief Ministers who are residing in government bungalows will have to vacate the same within two months.

Six former chief ministers - ND Tiwari, Kalyan Singh,Mayawati, Mulayam Singh, Rajnath Singh and Ram Naresh Yadav - have been given government accommodation in UP.

The order was passed on a petition filed by Lok Prahari an NGO.
