Lucknow: Minority Welfare Minister Dharampal Singh has made a big statement about the students studying in madrasas in the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh. He has said that madrasa students will also be taught mathematics and science among other subjects so that they can become 'officers' instead of becoming 'Maulvis'. UP cabinet minister Dharampal Singh said that this is also the vision of PM Narendra Modi. Dharampal Singh has also said that schools and hospitals will be built after vacating waqf board land currently in illegal possession.

Dharampal Singh has said that PM Modi has talked about 'Quran in one hand and laptop in the other' for madrasa students. Talking to the media in Varanasi, Dharampal Singh said, "After PM Modi's vision of 'Quran in one hand and laptop in the other' for madrasa students, madrasa students will be taught mathematics, general science, social science, Hindi and other subjects, this is so that instead of becoming maulvi by taking the education of the students' deen, They can become Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Provincial Civil Service (PCS), Engineers and Doctors.''

On the other hand, Dharampal Singh also praised CM Yogi and said that he is transforming Uttar Pradesh into "Uttam Pradesh", as envisaged by the Prime Minister. Dharampal Singh said a considerable portion of the land belonging to the Waqf Board was illegally occupied. The minister assured that it will be vacated and used for the construction of schools, hospitals and parks. Let us know that the survey of madrasas is going on in UP.
